Colette O'Brien was born in London in 1961 and works predominately in the medium of painting in oils and mosaic/sculpture.

Colour and vibrancy are the key elements to Colettes work with a strong emphasis on mysticism and nature characterising works that are both highly dynamic and vivacious establishing a dream like surreal quality suggesting notions of calmness and familiar territory.

'I always try to incorporate as many different styles, mediums and techniques sometimes jumping from traditional to abstract and with the ethos that nearly every material or object can be made into something beautiful. The end goal being to leave an everlasting impression on each viewer'.
